Covered cup and saucer with figures, a go-bord and inscriptions

Lidded cup and saucer of porcelain with a stepped wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the flat of the saucer a medallion with a seated man leaning on a stool, next to him three Chinese characters; around the medallion a standing woman and opposite a man with characters on either side; between them a cartouche with meander band with an inscription in characters and a go-board. The cup with the same type of decoration with other cartouches and persons. The lid with two other persons and cartouches. The lid and cup marked with the seal mark of Emperor Daoguang (?); the saucer with the seal mark of Emperor Xianfeng (?). Famille rose.
