About this work
Baluster-shaped, slender lidded jar of porcelain with a broad neck, painted in underglaze blue. On the wall, on one side, two women (long robes) in an enclosed garden, each holding a twig; on the other side, two women at a table before a large screen, one with a fan and the other with a twig in her hand; around the foot, two floral branches; around the neck, two floral branches; the rim with a band of swag work. Blue-and-white.
