About this work

Vase (roller) of porcelain with cylindrical body, flat shoulder and short, wide and slightly flaring neck, painted in underglaze blue. On the wall four bands with decorations alternating against a white and blue ground: the lower band with scrollwork and lotus scrolls in reserve, the next band with floral scrolls, above that a band with dragons in reserve; the upper band with floral scrolls and lobed cartouche filled with blue and lotus scrolls in reserve; around the foot and shoulder a decorative band; on the neck vertical flower petals; on the underside a double circle. A chip in the rim. Blue and white.
