About this work

Plate of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat in a double medallion a hoo bird on a rock at flowering plants (peony, pomegranate). Above it flies a second bird. The rim is divided into wide and narrow compartments. The wide compartments with flowering plants (peony, prunus, camelia) at rocks; the narrow compartments with a flower vine. Five feet on the underside. The decoration is based on Chinese kraak porcelain. Blue and white.
