About this work

Porcelain ewer with a slender, pear-shaped body, high foot, and C-shaped handle, painted in underglaze blue. On the belly a continuous landscape with four walking people among trees and flowering plants. Decorative bands around the foot and on the shoulder. The neck features two tulip motifs. The handle is decorated with a vine. The rim is set in a silver mount with a lid. Arita, blue and white.
