About this work

Odysseus in the underworld. In the center sits Hades, ruler of the underworld, with the three-headed dog Cerberus. On the right Odysseus meets the hero Hercules. On the left three figures who suffered punishment in Tartarus for various crimes: Tantalus, Sisyphus, and Tityus. The print is part of an album.
