About this work
Free-standing tomb monument with the effigy of a recumbent man in armor (a gisant). At the head, two hairy men with clubs (wild men) hold a plaque. On it, a winged helmet. At the feet, on two legs, a cartouche in a frame of scrollwork and grotesques. At the corners of the sarcophagus, a putto with two blank shields. On the right, a man walks down a staircase under a gate. Four lines of text in two columns in Latin in the lower margin. The print is part of an album.
