About this work
Free-standing tomb monument with the effigy of a recumbent man (a gisant). At his head a winged figure with a plaque. The sarcophagus with strapwork and decorated with mascarons is placed under a baldachin, resting on Composite order columns. The frieze with Moresque decoration and shields. On the right, a gate through which two people are stepping inside. Four lines of text in two columns in Latin in the lower margin. The print is part of an album.
