About this work

Free-standing tomb monument with the effigy of a recumbent man (a gisant). At the four corners a putto with a skull. The sarcophagus is placed on a high pedestal with Composite order columns. The plinth of the pedestal is decorated with cartouches in a frame of scrollwork and the socle with shields. Six lines of text in two columns in Latin in the lower margin. The print is part of an album.
