Robe en chemise. According to the accompanying text, the young woman is dressed in a 'robe en chemise' of transparent muslin with a double pleated collar, over a bodice (corset) and skirt of pink taffeta. Around the neck a fichu. On the head a simple but graceful bonnet adorned with a pearl necklace and three feathers. A tuft of tulle falls like a veil down the back. Accessories: gold earrings, black velvet ribbon around the waist, shoes with bows. Hairstyle with high-combed hair at the front, a flat chignon at the nape, and three curls on either side of the face. In the right hand a rose. The print is part of the 11th Cahier from the series Cabinet des Modes ou les Modes Nouvelles. The series consists of 72 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 15 November 1785 – 1 November 1786.
