Robe à la Turque. The woman is, according to the accompanying text, dressed in a 'robe à la Turque' of white gauze with white shiny and soft lilac stripes, trimmed with soft pink ribbon. Shawl of white checkered gauze with a fringe of white silk, crossed at the front and knotted under the belt at the back. Hairstyle with two bows of striped ribbon, without headgear. Lilac heeled shoes with a strip of pink ribbon (Accessories: earring, long gloves, chatelaine). The print is part of the 17th Cahier from the series Cabinet des Modes ou les Modes Nouvelles. The series consists of 72 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 15 November 1785 – 1 November 1786.
