About this work

Woman on horseback in an equestrian pose. On her head, a velvet hat. She wears an equestrian costume (riding habit) with a 'jabot tournant' and yellow gloves. Riding whip in the right hand. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.
