A soldier, full-length, facing right, seen from the back, holding a musket (a specific type of firearm) with his left hand near his left thigh and with his right hand taking the ramrod from the holder under the barrel (no. 25), ca. 1600. In his left hand, besides the musket, a burning match; on his left wrist a fork (musket fork). Plate 25 in the instructions for handling the musket: Corte onderrechtinghe op de figuerliicke afbeeldinghe, soo veel aengaet het recht ghebruyck vant Musquet.
