A soldier, full-length, facing right, holding a musket (a specific type of firearm) with his right hand, the barrel pointing upward, before placing the weapon on his left shoulder (no. 32), ca. 1600. In his outstretched left hand a lit match; on his left wrist a fork (musket fork).
