About this work

The burning of the lodging of Archduke Albert located in Fort Albertus, 13 November 1601. In the foreground relief among the soldiers and with a cleric with a crucifix. Top right a cartouche with an inscription in Latin. Above the print the title, at the bottom a description of the events, in German. Part of the illustrations for a journal of the siege of Ostend 1601-1604.
