About this work
To the left stands the laughing Aesopus, Bombario in Harlequin costume, next to a group of monkeys eating cabbage (the victims of the wind trade). To the right wolves hunt sheep. In the clouds Mercury, the Dutch Lion and Father Time. In the caption a verse in four columns. Print in the bound first edition (304 B 10) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Share Trading of 1720.
