About this work
On the left stands the laughing Aesopus, Bombario in a harlequin costume, beside a group of apes eating cabbage (the victims of the wind trade). On the right, wolves hunt sheep. In the clouds, Mercury, the Dutch Lion, and Father Time. A four-column verse in the caption. Print in the bound fourth edition (304 B 12) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Windhandel or Actiehandel of 1720.
