Satirical print on the shareholders. The harlequin Bombario and a fool lift a curtain revealing the share trading at the Quincampoix coffee house, where a large crowd of share traders jostle to get shares that are being vomited from a podium. In the foreground, Mercury is imprisoned in a cage. Print without the verse. Used as the title page in the play of the same name by Pieter Langendijk from 1720.
