About this work
Satirical print with two devils with bellows sitting on a melting furnace. Two eagle heads whisper in their ears. Church ornaments are being melted down in the furnaces. Related to August 1789. With French verse of 18 lines. Numbered top left: 38. Part of the bound collection of prints relating to the events of the Brabantian Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
