About this work

Satirical print in which the Belgian people pour their money on an altar on which stands a statue of Van der Noot. The money rolls into the skirts of a woman (La Pinau) who stands with Van Eupen to the right of the statue. In the background the outlines of a gallows are just visible near Van der Noot. With French inscription of three lines. Part of the bound collection of prints relating to the events of the Brabantian Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
