About this work
Satirical print on the (non-existent) Committee of Removal, 1795. In a church, the grave of a Prince of Orange is destroyed and desecrated. A skeleton is trampled to pieces and a boy urinates on a skull. Following the destruction of the grave of the Frisian Nassaus in the Jacobijnerkerk in Leeuwarden on August 1, 1795.
