About this work

Girl's hat of fine raffia, interwoven with cream-colored ribbons, in the shape of a capeline. The front of the brim is entirely covered with gathered white mousseline de soie and decorated with a bouquet of pink roses made of linen or cotton. On the back and on the crown are bows of mousseline de soie, ending in two tails. These are finished with a strip. On the inside, a label with the address: English Ware House / 66-68 rue Basse de Rempart / boulvd de la Madeleine / Paris.
