About this work
Hat of tulle, white satin, tulle stuffing and ribbon. Round crown of tulle with two sickle-shaped inlays of satin with braids filled with cord. The crown is decorated with strips of silk tulle stuffed with white silk floss. The embroidery has a pattern of bellflowers hanging in semicircular scallops. The cap is further decorated with ribbons of white grosgrain silk showing a damask pattern of diagonal bands of checkered blocks and a double garland. With two chin straps.
