About this work

A mat composed of fifteen fragments of silk with a scattered pattern of blue palmettes on a beige satin ground. The center of the mat, as well as the lining, is of blue satin. Bordered by brown-tinted gold galloon. Note: Consists of galloon: 2.3 cm, velvet edge 15 fragments, satin (center field). Silk velvet identical to silk velvet BK-15368.
