About this work
Man on a rectangular plot with his right leg forward and his left against a rocky elevation. With both hands he holds a tin jug against his right side, while his head is turned to the right. He wears a floppy hat, a jacket with half sleeves and a shirt. Furthermore, a frayed pair of breeches reaching just over the knees and stockings twisted around his legs. His feet are in large low shoes.
