About this work
Chair of walnut with petit-point upholstery and oak back posts and back legs. The chairs rest on obliquely placed, S-shaped legs, which merge into the seat frame. The front legs have a scroll with a standing leaf motif and above the swelling a shell motif. The front seat rail and side seat rails are decorated with a shell and acanthus leaf. The armrest supports merge into hollowed armrests, ending in an acanthus scroll. The upholstery shows motifs of flower vases and bouquets.
