About this work
Lambrequin or fragment with an image of a blue-green ground with two trees and a rope between them. On the rope sits a Chinese man and a monkey dances. To the left of the tree a horn-playing Chinese man and a dancing monkey walk. To the right sit two Chinese spectators. The lambrequin or fragment belongs to three other fragments (BK-16441-B to BK-16441-E) and a spread (BK-16441-A). Oriental textile.
