About this work

Lambrequin or fragment with an image of a Chinese angler. In a central scene surrounded by flowering branches, a Chinese man fishes for a Chinese man with an umbrella swimming in a pond. To the right stand a European man and woman watching two dancing monkeys. The lambrequin belongs to three lambrequins (or fragments) with accession number BK-16441-B to BK-16441-E and a spread with accession number BK-16441-A. Oriental textile.
