About this work

Lambrequin or fragment with an image of Chinese artisans. A Chinese man stands on stilts, a second pours water over a third, and a fourth has a monkey (?) around his waist. To the left a woman dressed in European style looks on, to the right a man and a woman. The lambrequin belongs to three lambrequins (BK-16441-B to BK-16441-E) and a spread (BK-16441-A). Oriental textile.
