About this work

Parasol with a cover of ecru linen with embroidery. The fabric has a scalloped edge with corded smaller scallops and Henri-II work. On each sector, a loosely arranged bouquet of tulips is embroidered in floss silk. Unlined, eight ribs. On a light wooden stick with a bent end in the shape of a bird's head. A cord hangs from the stick with two tassels in beige and green.
