About this work
Parasol with a cover of white tulle with black embroidery of three flowers each, a longer one in the middle and two shorter ones on both sides, a loop pattern along the scalloped edge. Lining of white glazed cotton, with eight black-dyed ribs. Narrow unadorned white-painted wooden shaft, to which a curved ivory-colored handle with a black tip is attached. On the shaft, a white tassel. On top, a browned ribbon of taffeta, and an elongated point of the same white-painted wood, with a silver-colored metal tip.
