About this work
Hollow, round silver plaque, surrounded by a leaf wreath. On the right in the foreground Tobias (sic) lies sleeping next to his house. Above his head on a beam end a nest with the birds that would cause his blindness. In a gallery to the left, the feast takes place where the young Tobias announces the death of a relative. In the background a view into a street where the wife of Tobias (sic) is visible with a goat.
