Embroidery sampler of silk on linen. The embroidery features the date ANNO 1765, the initials GS, TB, KR, AI, SE, HG and SG. The embroidery also includes letter and number exercises and various darning samples, including birds, a cradle, a bed, a man with a dog and a mill.
