About this work

Oak chest of drawers with blue-grey veined marble top, lined with several types of wood. The front corner posts placed diagonally with a molded frame continue into the legs. The curved front contains two drawers with gilded bronze handles; molded lower rails and a molded apron following the trapezoidal floor plan. The front and sides show, within a molded field, a musical trophy and floral work with a bow. The furniture features gilded copper mounts with leaf motifs; also with a rosette at the bottom.
