About this work

Strip of natural-colored batiste with lace embroidery: Dresden lace or point de Dinant. With a pattern of a flower bed and a leaf rosette, from which volute vines come forth with composite flowers and a large fan-shaped calyx flower. The border is slightly scalloped with smaller shells. The motifs are made in shadow work and the decorative filling of lattice work in work with drawn threads and work with gathered threads.
