Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Mechelen lace with a strip of machine-made tulle with a scattered pattern of flowers. The pattern of the bobbin-laced strip consists of a band of scattered flowers with below a row of loose horseshoe-shaped flowers on a short branch. Along the straight lower side lie connected three-lobed leaves. The motifs are connected by a fine mesh ground, the Mechelen ground. The sparse solid work is made in linen stitch and is provided with thicker and shiny contour threads. A also sparingly used decorative ground with coarser mesh is used in the flower hearts. The long sides are finished straight, with along the lower side of the bobbin-laced strip picots. One short side is finished with a hem.
