About this work
Linen damask napkin with a flower vase. The symmetrical pattern, covering the full width and height of the central field, consists of a pointed oval, scalloped and lattice-filled band, which encloses a large lattice-filled vase shape or flower bulb, from which a bouquet emerges of large grapevine leaves, a fruit cluster, and flowers. In the borders, lobed diamond-shaped medallions on a lattice ground; in the corners a medallion. Around: block border.
