Linen damask napkin with London, river the Thames, English arms, King William III and Mary Stuart and conquered cities. Central field: the symmetrically doubled pattern shows four scenes: 1 River the Thames. On the river a yacht with reefed sails. Rowing boats in the background. Inscription: THE RIVER THAMES. 2 A city with in the middle the cathedral of St. Paul and on both sides the Tower. Inscription: LONDON. 3 King William III and Mary Stuart. They hand each other a laurel branch. William III with a sceptre in his hand, wrapped in a mantle lined with ermine decorated with Bourbon lilies. Mary Stuart dressed in a gown. 4 Between two crowned arms of Great Britain and Ireland a round shield, in a scrollwork cartouche, with the Cross of St. George and two swords, behind which two flags, one again with the Cross of St. George, the other with two crossed swords and a crown.
