About this work

Armchair of walnut. The legs are rectangular in section; the rear legs are set back. The front legs are connected by a flat rail, which in relief shows two lions with stretched bodies; the lions carry a cartouche containing a coat of arms. The armrest supports show vase-shaped sections; the armrests are flat. The back stiles of the rectangular back frame are crowned with garlands. The back and seat are upholstered in green floral damask. See: BK-16845-b.
