About this work

Armchair of walnut on square legs, connected by bracket-shaped fretwork splats. The front splat features symmetrical leaf motifs and volutes. The arm supports are jointed; the armrests slightly hollowed. The back stiles end in acanthus leaves. The furniture is upholstered in gold leather, displaying gold-green fretwork patterns with flower calyxes and rosettes.
