St Catherine of Alexandria

She stands with both feet on Emperor Maxentius (?), has the head slightly turned to the right and sees, vaguely smiling, what is down before her. She holds the left forearm raised, opposite to the right. The hair originates at the temples and falls in waves over the back and shoulders. On the head a wrapped band with pearls and some rosettes. The frontally pleated garment, which is held up under the left arm, falls over the lying prince, but leaves the points of her shoes and part of the undergarment free. The garment shows both at the hem and at the sleeves settings for gemstones. On the diagonally hanging belt a rosary; under the round neck opening the waffled frontlet of the undergarment, which also comes to light again at the left foot; around the neck a three-part pearl necklace with toothed edge, to which a rhombus-shaped pendant. The mantle hanging from the shoulders is held up under the right arm.
