About this work
Collar of natural-colored needle lace. The upper edge is straight, the lower edge is scalloped. Each scallop encloses a rose. Along the scallops runs a wavy pearl edge. The motifs are built up from festoon stitches and feature light relief contours. They are connected by an irregular bar ground, between which ovals with decorative stitches are worked.
