Cuff of natural-colored needle lace: Brussels net lace. Rectangular model with a scalloped leaf edge and a straight buttonhole band with a square mesh along the top. Symmetrical pattern with a straight ornamental band with vertical stripes above which three simple floral scrolls side by side, with leaves and at the lowest point always one rosette flower. The ornamental band with stripes is crossed at the corners and in the middle by a total of four rosette flowers, of which the bottom forms part of the scalloped edge. These rosette flowers are crowned at the top by a flower cluster of three rosette flowers and some leaf sprigs, which pierce between the successive floral scrolls to the upper edge. The motifs are made with buttonhole stitches and provided with relief contours of widely buttonholed thread bundles. The floral scrolls are connected to each other by a very fine net lace ground studded with dots.
