About this work

Ladies' shoe of brocaded silk with a cream ground featuring bouquets of roses and blossoms. Model: Rounded toe, one front flap and one back flap. The front of the heel runs in a right angle from the length straight down. The sides and back are waisted and covered with cream leather. Gold-colored stitching runs along the edge of the heel. The heel has a dark brown leather edge from the back strap. Leather back strap and leather sole. Back flap and front flap lined with beige linen. The insole is of beige linen. Decoration: The shoe is made of cream-colored brocaded silk. The silk is worked such that on the forefoot there is a large bouquet of roses and blossoms in the colors old pink, green, brown, white and blue. On the back flap loose roses and branches of blossoms in old pink, green, brown and white. Edge trimmed with light blue taffeta.
