About this work

Linen batiste fichu, triangular and scalloped, decorated with floral border embroidery, shading work and needle lace. Decoration: festoon stitch, fils-tirés and chain stitch: Point de Dresde. Decorated on two sides with wide embroidered scalloped borders. Two types of large, palm-shaped flowers appear here, interrupted by feathered leafy vines with berries. Enlarged palm fronds in the corner. A wavy border along the contour.
