Writing desk with medallions of Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia and her three children

Bureau with raised back veneered with burr walnut on an oak core. The lower case has two large and two small drawers and fluted lower rails. The writing surface is slanted. The upper case has two doors with mullion division and palmwood medallions of Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia and her three children at four of the intersections. The hood is built up from C-scrolls and has a central mahogany lockplate with a palmwood medallion of William V, surrounded by laurel branches and a bow.
