About this work
Eastern carpet, floral and scroll carpet. In the central field lotus flowers and palmettes connected by thin scrolls and rosettes with flowers; alternated by larger rosettes and pointed ogival cartouches. The widest border is decorated with lilies in cobalt green and white.
