About this work

Motif in 'paisley' shape of natural-coloured bobbin lace: Cluny lace. The contour of the curved drop is made in linen stitch. Inside the contour is a braided branch with fourteen leaves in pattern stitch. The convex side of the motif has a double contour line. The slightly wavy outer contour line is made in linen stitch with an openwork edge. Between the largest waves, under the double contour lines, two leaves are made in pattern stitch.
