About this work
Application of natural-colored machine lace. Heart-shaped model. The symmetrical pattern consists of an ornamental border along the lower side of the heart of openwork squares with in each square a cross with a dot in the center. Along this band hang half-oval-shaped shells downwards with the same crosses. The squares and shells increase in size towards the point at the bottom. At the top the heart is bounded by a vine with small leaves. In the heart stand three goblet flowers with two rosette flowers between them, both with small leaves.
