About this work
Application of natural machine-made lace. Heart-shaped model. The symmetrical pattern consists of a decorative border along the bottom of the heart of openwork squares, each containing a cross with a dot in the center. Along this band hang semi-oval shells downwards with the same crosses. The squares and shells increase in size towards the point at the bottom. At the top the heart is bounded by a vine with small leaves. In the heart stand three cup-shaped flowers with two rosette flowers in between, both with small leaves.
